I love carowinds and all..
but i wouldn't drive that far...
not even fly lol

but im glad you love the park =]

Most people feel that way about their home park but for people who love to travel and visit various parks, Carowinds is definitely worth it. I traveled 8+ hours to go to parks like Williams Grove, Hersheypark (back when all they had was the Comet) and Conneaut Lake. Didn't care one bit about the long drives. I just kept thinking about the new experience I was about to have.

If you love amusement parks and coasters and traveling, time is no factor, you just go.....regardless of the park.

Come on! You know Carowinds is the bestest park evar!!! ;)

Six Flags St Louis is the farthest I've driven, but that was over 2 days too.

I'll probably be making the trek back to Ohio this summer and that's a good 9-10 depending on if I go straight to Cedar point or not.

Hmm how about a 9 hour flight + 1 hour drive + 3 hour flight + 4 hour drive just to get to TusenFryd in Norway, south of Oslo.. of course.. I was with good company.. and it was soooooooooo worth it..

First time in probably more than 10 years that I will be missing an opening day. Oh well. Perhaps I will shed a single tear over it while I am riding Goliath. B)
