A Boomerang better than Afterburn? To each his/her own I suppose. What's fun to some may be horrible to others. I'm sure Carolina Cobra is better than Boomerang at Wild Adventures (and other clones) with the newer trains. However I doubt I'll be placing it above 8 or 9 after I finally ride it in a couple months. Currently Nighthawk is my 2nd favorite (after Afterburn) and I know many on this site particularly don't care for it. Mind you I haven't been to the park since Oct 2008 so I have Cobra, Intimidator and now Fury 325 to add to my list when I arrive.

We now know there is at least one confirmed Vekoma Boomerang fan out there. I thought they were a myth. I am not into padding my credit count, so I stopped riding them long ago. I will have limited time at the park this summer, and although I'm curious about the new trains Cobra is still at the bottom of my priorities.

Wow, I'm kinda shocked at my own answer on the previous page. I forgot just how different the park was in 2014 and before where the biggest argument was on if Afterburn or Intimidator was the best coaster in the park. That is hard to even think of these days.

Here is my 2019 list:

2 Copperhead (Edges out Afterburn for being smoother and just more fun, also has great airtime)

4 Intimidator (how is a B&M hyper a #4 at this park now?!)
