I was at the beach last week. Took the HRP Backstage tour. I thought they had a simulation of LZ, but it was only thru the first hill and loop. They had the model of the park, looked to be 5 coasters. Looks to be a good park. LZ is built right on the road, I drove past twice. The ride looks sweet, they were beginning to start building the platform part. Still a lot of track in the lot to put together.

Land sales around Hard Rock have jumped from $100k per acre to $700k - $800k per acre! Yikes!

I really don't understand all the negativity towards Cedar Fair... Maybe I'm missing something, but I just don't see it... Why don't we wait for a reason to hate them? Have they done anything unreasonable or wrong with Carowinds? If so, I will eat my words.. Why don't we give them a chance and lets see what direction they take our park in- they may do some great things with Carowinds! Some of you guys talk of CF as if they sold Top Gun to Cedar Point!! They might do a better job than Paramount.. But we won't know until we give them a chance! :rolleyes:
