^I think that's just the angle, I don't think it is any steeper than any other similar B&M (leaving out dive machines).

I am working with the general contractor, Hensel Phelps, with a possible tour of HRP during the ACE day at Family Kingdom on Sept. 9th. It's possible the ride structure could be nearly finished by then.

In regards to the lift hill steepness. Look at the topping off ceremony video clip in the attached article Jonathan gave.

That lift hill appears to be steeper than the normal B&M, but not as steep as Griffon's lift (which was the steepest B&M lift I have ridden).

When you think about it, it makes economical sense to make a lift hill steeper. You rise to the highest point of the ride, in a shorter amount of track. And B&M track cost per foot ain't cheap!

Hope some of you get a chance to stand and gander at it if the Tour takes place. It is a sight to just see things seem to appear from week to week.

did you look at the live webcam? It didn't appear the loop was finished although as fast as they are working it may be by this time tomorrow.

I just need some clarification but is the "lost in the 70's" section going to be indoors. From what I have been reading it is.

^ I've been wondering about that as well.

Anyway, I saw pics of Led Zeppelin somewhere where the loop nearly halfway done.

^Yes, I just saw the webcam. :o
At this rate, the darn thing will be testing by Sept or Oct.

I remember Top Gun construction going pretty fast as well. I would drive out there every couple days and couldn't believe how much they did in such a short amount of time.

I know I'll be called down, but the lift reminds me more of Goliath's than Kumba's.

Did B&M change the style of their lifts or am I just confused?
