I dont mind the transition from theme park to amusement park, what I mind is the removal of shade trees. I mean look at Dollywood and Six Flag Over Georiga. They are both well shaded and fairly spread out. I believe that Intimidator should have been put behind the flume and further into the parking lot to provide more room for future expansion. Yes, this would have meant removal of the surviving picnic shelter instead but I believe it would been better for the future of the park.

I went yesterday, but I didnt make it back to that part of the park until it was dark. Harmony Hall looks pretty good from ground level. It was super busy yesterday and most of the day I had my daughter by myself so I only got a few pictures.

Saturday was packed. I rode TR, Skytower, and left.

Looks like they're cleaning up over by go carts. I'll post a link to pix soon.

Off topic, however there's still a nice piece of land next to harmony hall. I can see them sticking in a maXair or Screamin' Swing ride there. Isn't that what the did with maXair at cedar? It's next to a restaurant.

Nothing like swinging and spinning right after you eat

While this is a plausible idea, it could pose rider safety concerns due to it's proximity to Ripcord and the brake run/station of Intimidator! On the other hand I could see a future home for such an attraction adjacent to the rear-section of Hurler. (depending on how the park decides to re-establish the Thrill Zone area of the park.)

Memorial Day weekend. Busy. Very very busy. Hope anyone wasn’t in a hurry to get in today..

These kinda speak for themselves. Full set.

We may have lost Plaza Fiesta, but beef tongue tacos are back at the excellent new Mexican restaurant by the Clarion hotel pool, across from the now bankrupt and defunct El Cancun. No liquor license yet, (and I'm not sure where Fort Mills is), but then there's always the Drunken Goat.
