If they needed to lower food prices they would. People are paying the prices which keep the park open. The food is on par with any major entertainment venue. Pricing is not an issue.
Thanks for all the updates, Jay and Wormy! Harmony Hall looks much better than I expected and the food choices are even better than what Emily (the new PR coordinator) hinted at. I am really looking forward to my next trip back to Carowinds.
So today I went to the park and snapped just a few pics as the park was a DEAD ZONE for construction today and not much has happened since the last update. Anyways here are a couple of pics that show some LOD markings, removal of trees, and a removal of a lightpole (possibly).
This is what I can base off of my visit for today: RED- Tree demolition Green- What I like to call "LOD ALLEY" as this is where a lot of LOD markings can be seen.
So since there's no haunt 2015 thread I'll post here. Was at the park today and while waiting for nighthawk I noticed asylum seems to have been gutted. I don't know if this was already known information. But here ya go.
This could be a rough year for Scarowinds. The local legend that is Asylum being retired, plus the very strong possibility that Silver Scream Cinema not operating this fall. PLEASE bring back Slaughterhouse!!
So Emerald Pointe is removing a slide (Bonzai Pipe Line) in order to build a new one, could it be sent here? Stated they are sending it to another park.
^ That would be sweet but I doubt it. I may be wrong (50/50?) but isn't it built on a hillside? It seems like that would make it hard to relocate to a relatively flat piece of land like really anywhere in Boomerang Bay.
