It is cutting expenses designed to look like an expansion. Oops did I say that out loud.

I believe it is based on predicted attendance because I have seen prices in Carowinds go up on one visit then down the next. I will report back on locker prices tomorrow.

So I noticed that Bondi Beach is not symeterial like Big Wave Bay, and that Bondi's wave seem very rough and rowdy. Does the difference in the side wall and zero depth entry area make any difference in the waves? The wavepool design seems to be standard with Cedar Fair too.

$18 for small in BB is all I have seen. I have seen Carowinds prices for standard size vary from $13 to 18. I would trust leaving my stuff in the open, and if someone offers to sell you a locker code at a discounted or free price. Don't do it and report it to the nearest Security Guard, the park is ...

Yes but I believe Bondi Beach would create a bottle neck like the one between the pink slides and old wavepool. I think the majority of Thunder Road's space in he empty in 2016.

Wet 'n Wild doesn't own any other parks anymore. Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe was retained by Palace Enterainment which was brought by Parque Renaidos. Wet 'n Wild Las Vegas closed years ago and Wet 'n' Wild Las Vegas has no connection to EP or Orlando. The two Las Vegas parks have SIMILAR names to ar...

^Would be an example of why they need to drop assigning seats period. Unless the ride is walk on, I have never seen empty seats sent out on any coaster when guests pick their own seats.

Since it is closing 12/31/16, I doubt it. I suspect Universial will keep most of them for Volcano Bay.

Edwardo wrote:And really what is a grand in the grand scheme of things to Carowinds? How many packs of cigarettes is that?

Heck, I spent at least that on my last weekend trip.

Depends on which brand of cigarettes and where you are buying them. I would estimate between 190 and 210 packs.

^Shorter lines for ya'll and less profit for them. I am keeping my $1,000 per year I spend at Carowinds and going on a weekend trip for a couple seasons.

I know it has been brought up time after time but the maintenance road under Thunder Road's lift could be used to connect the water park to County Fair/South Gate via AFX.

I doubt anything will be built where the turnarounds are for while. It is too far out to connect to anything right now plus the walkway around Bondi Beach is extremely narrow with no real way to widen it without removing Pipeline Peak. Someone wasn't thinking ahead.
