I don't see the park opening any earlier than first weekend of Spring. SFOG opened in the last weekend in Feburary one thia(2005 I think?). I have seen flurries called for on Opening Day before. 2006 I beleive and the park almost closed early and the rides were down to basic positions only.
The new coaster that hasnt been annouced just seems like a bad choice, it is bound to have worst capacity than Cobra and Ricochet.
How often did anyone see Kookaburra Bay open last year? Of all the visits I made, it was only open once. Ideal spot to build a larger waterplay structure.

They would have to get PTC to agree to it, otherwise the state won't allow it. For now, PTC does not recommend their trains go any other direction than foreword.

^My thoughts too, Thunder Road will be 40 in 2016. Both Rebel Yell and Racer have walkways under it, plus didn't someone(more reliable source) here say that Carowinds has plans for Thunder Road's 40th anniversary?

Well Barbwire did make an interesting comment recently but I also look back through his posts, I think Carowinds is putting this rumor out to mess with us.

Why would the transfer track be counted as a block? The block brakes on the B&M coasters are behind the transfer track. Same for Hurler; the transfer on OddCoaster and Thunder Road arent block brake either.
