The CW was a darkish duke-ish blue, but I personally don't think I would try and paint the blue. You however have better skills than I.

Sand is not required for pavers anymore, there is other options(advertised as cheaper). For example, I used to paver base on my garden railroad for ballast, it is finely crushed gravel. There is also a form product that comes in sheets.

^^^They have now poured concrete around the planters, however I do know places in the park where the pavers go all the to the planters.

The rings look too far from the cinder block to be benches, paver guides is likely. Looks like electrical conduit is being put in place for the turnstiles.

Kinda looks like they decided the orginal two planters were too big, the new ones match the planters on the other side of the bridge.

Am I seeing things or did one of the large planters at the bridge get removed?
