Vortex does have capacity issuee, not to the level of Cobra or Nighthawk. Mostly do to riders not listeningduring loading but most if not all standups have this pproblem.
Changing the trains wont change the fact that it is a compact coaster with quick transitions. How has changing the trains helped Gwazi, Son of Beast, EXT Screamroller, X2 and Cliffhanger?

According to google maps, the old pond out front that will become parking lot has a 23 feet elevation change....
My guess is that the mounds of dirt are for grading for the new plaza and parking lot.
So is it possible the lift hill and first drop spine functions as an arch reducing (or eliminating) the need for support columns in that section? Compare Intimidator's lift to Fury's.
