The old Arrow Log Flumes are reaching the end of useful life and Arrow parts are getting harder to get. Carowinds had the flume it's self covered with a Rhino liner material to try and seal the flume in order to save water. It didnt work, the flume was fiberglass so I imagine it took a good beating ...
The one at Emerald Pointe was removed because the electrical components kept getting wet and short circuiting. The coaster was sold to Hard Rock Park. This information was told to me by Emerald Pointe's General Manager so the source is reliable, I was an employee.
So the tits were great, how was the slides....
I found Surfer's Swell's line to move real slow but the slide was ok. My wife and I aren't waterpark people, so we didn't hang around to do Dorsal Fin.
Actually the system does tell them if the cup was purchased day of. My wife learned that the hard way,the employee charged her more than the 99 cents for the refill too. Some employees however will refill cups with no questions or scanning asked.

Goliath at SFGAm is concerned a woodie by the park (and me).
