Hmm, I use my phone at Carowinds so much that by the time I leave the battery is dead. Mainly for taking pictures but I also use Twitter and Facebook from the phone.

Vortex is over twenty years old, Mantis is nearing 20 years also. Why spend the money to just replace the trains when a newer smoother coaster could be built?
Anyone remember if Rip Roaring Rapids has been operational this year?
You make a very good point however Carowinds and Great America both fell victim to Paramount Parks retheming the main plaza.
Surfer's Swell looks odd in a good way, has anyone rode this type of slide? I have never seen one like it before.
I don't see any other purpose for the Plantation House than admission gate, it isn't big enough for much else. My prediction is that if not used for original purpose, it will be torn down.
If you mean the guy at Skytower....
He also says it will twice the height of Thunder Road.
I am not convinced that the Plantation House is coming down and they sure wont build a "glass tunnel".
Yep, been there since about 2010.
I think they have already found a new use for AFX....special events.
I disagree, they have barely started on the area of the gokart track.

The gokarts are no longer on the track. New slides are nearly finished. Photos were taken on 5/28.
Yes, those markings have been there since 2013 or 2012. Alot of markers show off and amount to nothing visible.
Oops forgot to add that upon riding Skytower, they have built the roadbed for the track and it will be a simple oval.
Carowinds stated on facebook that the train will open when construction is finished on Harmony Hall.
Nighthawk was walk on yesterday. I couldn't ride yesterday but my wife did.
