Probably the "Famous Bbq" that Country Kitchen served for years. I never tried it since I am from Lexington, NC...bbq is king in this town.
Great update Jay! I am confused as to why the gokarts are still scattered around, is it possible Carowinds could reroute the track?
Wow, very different from Outer Hanks.
I am excited for Harmony Hall, did they say of Chic-Fil-A would just have a Chic-Fil-A menu?
Why not just make the exit by Thunder Road Right turn only and the exit to Ave of the Carolinas left turn only and add a stoplight. Ave of the Carolina left turn to Carowinds Blvd only, exit by Thunder Road right turn only onto Carowinds Blvd. My next suggestion is connecting Ave of the Carolinas to...
I think Carowinds could get same attendance increase without a giga coaster. Waterpark expansions I believe would be a slower route compared to the giga coaster but have a longer lasting impact. Couple that with a kiddy area expansion and a flat ride package and I think that would be a good ticket. ...
Jay, wikipedia and Carowinds Zone both listed Hurler as opening in June 1994. However I do not remember where that information came from. Unsurely I didnt just follow what Wikipedia says. Hurler is the only attraction I know of opening late.
I still think they are spread too thin with so many different projects going on. Almost feels like a year round park, which I wouldnt mind seeing Carowinds do if at all possible.
Strange, Opening Weekend at Reptar they were allowed to push on the harnesses at all other than push down pull up.
I aint worried about the name itself, I want a kickbutt giga coaster.
Goldrushee ran for how many years without seatbelts and with a lower height restriction of 36"?
Seatbelts slow the unloading and loading process on every other coaster...
Not to mention the numerous construction projects in the rest of the park, I wonder if they are all the same construction company?
Again with the seatbelt rumor, I will believe it when I see it.
