I personally like Hurler the way it is, it just needs timberliners. The re-track would eventually wear off anyways so why not change the trains? Changing the trains may or may not help, just like different wheels may or may not help. There are atleast a dozen variables in how a wooden coasters ride...

Hurler had it's third turn retracked twice in 2006, it did not improve the ride. Did RMC use topper track or regular track on Thunder Run? Hurler needs atleast the Thunder Road treatment, support system has as much as do with as track and weather. I say Iron Horse Hurler and be done with it.

Carowinds' competition is Six Flags Over Georgia, Emerald Pointe and Tweetsie. Kings Dominion is a sister park so it isnt really competition, Six Flags Over Georgia is a stretch but I would say they are the biggest. Tweetsie is close enough to compete woth but they are mainly a tourist side-stop not...

I cant think of any room in PS, but the old Cinema 180 area could use a ride across from Cobra. Make it part of the Boardwalk and call it the Boardwalk Rainbow. It will be a shame if Gr8 Sk8 is removed completely.
