Anyone know when the mall was built? Is it possible the sale of that land came with easement rights for the monorail and the rights expired? Instead of renewing the rights, Carowinds elected to remove the monorail. What I find odd is that the monorail lasted 21 seasons.

Hmm, I stop dreaming about coasters 10 years ago. Dont matter what the layout is, name, manufactor, or colors...I cant be no better than Intimidator. However, I am going to guess we will have our fourth red coaster.

That looks like primer, I was at Carowinds couple weeks ago and the loop supports were blue. We parked at South Gate, poor Afterburn has rust spreading on parts of the track, was starting to look like SFKK'S Greased Lightning.

Bull, Paramount done no more theming than Cedar Fair did with Intimidator. The County Fair area dates back to 79 and you see how themed it is from when Carowinds was a Theme park.

Carowinds used to own all the way out to 77, the monorail went to 77. I am pretty sure the land that was brought by CF, was land that Paramount or KECO didnt buy when they brought the park.

If coaster runs at night and no one is around hear it, does it make a sound. Interstates are built in nc with out of state crews.
