To the best of my knowledge, there was the mentioned death in wavepool and a drowning in the lazy river. No deaths to my research has happened on any amusement park ride at Carowinds.

Even Disney wouldnt and couldnt bring back the Carowinds spirit. Cedar Fair runs amusement parks not theme parks (except Knotts), I just pray CF never gets the idea to rid the park of the Plantation House.

Hurler is better than Mean Streak and Hurricane cat 5. Also is a cake walk compared to Ga. Cyclone anf GASM.

Over North Gate or replacing North Gate would be like Disney changing the entry to the Magic Kingdom. South Gate wouldnt look too bad as long as the tacky pillars arent added.
