It looks like the lake already has water in it.

Lower capacity, popular rides make sense(ie Cobra, Rapids) but higher capacity rides even popular ones(ie Afterburn, Intimidator) just don't seem like a good selling point to me as they generally have short/no line. Hurler is high capacity and unpopular so why have it on the list, once again doesn't...
Hurler? Afterburn? Two rides I have seen walk on on a regular basis. I ain't paying $50 for Fast Lane, it is just a waste of money unless you come on a crowded day and even then, I can wait. Flyers would make more sense than Hurler. Cyclone I can see when they running one train, but I havent seen on...
The pavers will be a nice change, however I am wondering about trees. I miss the days when Goldrusher seemed more hidden from the rest of the park except for Vortex.
Riptide Reef opened with a pair(?) of freefalls slides. These slides used the same tower as the pink slide. Also the blue and oranges slides were part of Riptide Reef but did indeed use mats instead of tubes and also had a lifthill. Sorry, I don't remember the slides Boomerang Bay names off hand. I ...
Ya'll must have good eyes or something cause I don't see these two pieces.
It looks like Skytower from this view will stand a hair shorter than Windseeker but the flagpole will still be higher. It will be interesting seeing something taller than the mighty Skytower.
am i the only one that wishes they would fix the webcam so it isn't so blurry? i mean, it's better than nothing, but it's kinda getting on my nerves :? i also love how i drove past the park last weekend and that wasn't there. very impressed at how fast they are putting this thing up! I think it is ...
Based on my research, the contract was for seven years and was sign in February 2006. So 6+7=13, which means Coca Cola will supply the syrup for Carowinds this season.
Looks like the schoolhouse has painted yellow at some point, they removed most of the trees around it.
Well, it was up. I seen it, they merged the roller coaster and water rides pages with family and thrill. They even had the 2012 park map up.
It is up now, www.carowinds.com
It has been rumored since the merger, but I doubt the missing sign is a sign.
Well poo, shows how much I know.
A second crane, this is taller but looks lighter.
