... down. Thus the addition of the softer wheels. The softer wheels slow it down enough to keep the speed in check so that they don't wear out the trim brakes by having them in constant use. They use the same tactic on Intimidator. If you'll notice some of the wheels are yellow and some are white. ...

Thunder Road and Hurler both underwent pretty large scale rebuilds in the last 5-6 years. Hurler just needs the 2nd turn done and the trim removed and it will be good as new. RMC doesn't need to touch either of these rides. 2016 is bringing some much needed waterpark additions anyway soo... ...

Once it breaks in and the temps go up the speed will most definitely increase. The trim is to help keep it from going faster than designed through the last third of the course. I would suspect that the trim won't be used at all until the temps stay regularly in the ...

If the trim wasn't on then the ride will be even slower through the helix and final humps. I was thinking the reverse that the trim would be on at a certain speed to prevent it going over the hill and helix too fast and then ...

The trim brake was more than likely off during these first initial tests. Don't want anything that might cause it to valley.

... until the turnaround. After the turn-around, the trip through the tunnel and over the path were faster in real life. That leads me to believe the trim did engage. Also, if you notice, after the trim, the train was SLIGHTLY slower and the animation caught up and passed it and arrived at the BRAKE ...

I was getting excited and thought maybe I'd take a drive, but the one tarp was still on in that still image. So, my excitement was for nothing.
