I'm happy I didn't go for the event. The 2 hours I was at the park was pretty miserable (though I got a few rides in). And the trim on Hurler was hitting harder than it was a week or so ago (We rode it a few times, hardly any trim, and decent airtime made for nice rides). Hate that I ...

... just me, or does Thunder Road pretty much never open until about 11-12? On a side note, it's really time for the park to just tear out Hurler. The trim has neutered almost all of the airtime, and it's getting uncomfortably rough again...running 1 train it was still a walk on even for the front ...

Stoped by carowinds today for about 5 hours got 3 rides on Intimidator all with trim and got a ride in on the new Thunder Road it was rough as ever the 1st hill was smoother but the rest of the ride so rough I think the train come of the track right before were the tunnel was. All though not to busy.

If that's the case, I wonder why they turned the trim back on towards the end of the ride.

They really need a better solution than killing all the air at the end of the ride.

Too late. The book has been written. I'm sure you'll find something that will trim that tummy down. Also, if you care to look into it, health professionals are saying we need to perform a body cleanse periodicly to remove backed up waist in the colon, intestines, ...

Yea the trim hit everytime I rode as well but when I was sitting towards the front I couln't tell as bad as I could in the back..But anywhere you sit is a different experience. I also loved the airtime you got in the front part.

... The ride was great anywhere that I sat. I still think I prefer the front half of the train as I got more air time there. Unfortunately the trim kicked in every time that I rode but it didn't seem to ruin the ride at all.

I don't remember if they put the trim on just after the turn that goes over the turtle, or just before the double down.

And where is the trim on Phantom? I honestly never noticed it.

... I MUST get there next year. Heck, I still have a lot of rides I need to do, but Phantom just demands most of my time.
