I went to the park yesterday, rode Int(r)imidator 5 times, and only once did that trim grab, and the MCBR activate and slow the train down a lot...and the difference in the ride is SIGNIFICANT...especially after the MCBR, and especially if you are near the front ...
I've gotten 4 rides on my off time this week and I gotta say they've been some of the best rides I've had yet. Very little trim action and absolutely killer airtime.
... to take off on the exit. The airtime was quite good in the usual spots, with my thighs against the lapbar the entire time on the 3 airtime hills. Trim #2 was grabbing but not that hard. As always, riding at night added to the fun. The coaster looks great at night both on ride and off.
... getting an Intamin here. I mean, what fun is it to go to the park, ride the ride multiple times with it's fully-functional 3 trains, go down an untrimmed drop, and not bash my head against an OTSR? How am I supposed to get on the Internet and RAGE about that??? How dare they build a fun, comfortable, ...
^If he rode he pre trim (which im 99% sure he told me he did) he will have a way to judge just like you did...
Read my previous posts to understand the huge difference between pre/post trim i305. It isn't the same ride, i305 is gone.
Of course you have no way of judging that but it's a HUGE difference.

... e r f e c t" speed and heavy g's and you'd regain all vision as you were ejected. I can't even describe the speed and g's until you hit the trim. Anyways... The trains make strange noises related to the anti rollbacks and eat wheels like crazy. You could see them turning from blue to grey/black ...
... the people complaining are NOT blowing it out of proportion. The ride now does not feature a first drop, it features a first brake run! The mag trim fins run all the way to the bottom of the hill to where it begins leveling out, shaving off AT LEAST 6mph of speed but I'd say it's more like 10 ...
I rode it twice yesterday, the 2nd trim grabbed pretty hard on my first ride, (the first time it's grabbed since I've been on it) and I didn't think it affected the rest as much as some of the posts I've read. The 2nd half of the ride was still more than fun even with the trim grab.

... that happend, oh well. I want to see a picture of it now. I wonder what the top speed is now..... Crazy that this thing was SO intense they had to trim the drop, but at least they have the technology to do that and not have to rip it down...
It's sad that that 2nd trim either makes or breaks the ride. The first trim really is barely noticable, and that hill has the normal B&M floaty air. But having ridden the ride when the 2nd trim either hit hard, barely hit, or hit ...
