... are saying they lowered the lift speed (which was my suggestion anyway) and that there is a copper piece on the drop or something, possibly for a trim. I didnt see anything about the restraints so maybe that is what they are doing, changing restraints and slowing the ride down? Not sure. That ...

It's sad that that 2nd trim either makes or breaks the ride. The first trim really is barely noticable, and that hill has the normal B&M floaty air. But having ridden the ride when the 2nd trim either hit hard, barely hit, or hit ...

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K...er, Kings Dominion. Went on KD Fansite to check on the latest uproar on the trim that doesn't really seem to be there (yet), and saw something interesting. They've changed the restraints on the test seat from the OTSR to what looks like a ...

Rode it a few times before work today, it was running pretty well. I think the 2nd trim slammed one time, but I don't remember exactly (LONG day after that). It's always such a good ride, I really love the positive g's in the valleys of those hills. Not a lot of ...

I had maybe 2 out of the 9 rides today that the 2nd trim didnt hit and a couple others it didnt seem like it hit hard. There was a time or two though it really hit and it was funny because everyone was screamin and havin fun and all of a sudden everyone ...

... Ricochet is a nice little ride but needs some padding on the bars all the way to the groud, it hurt my legs like crazy. On a positive note the trims on ricochet didnt hit until the final curve or so. After that I head over to drop tower and on the way Cyclone got stuck at the bottom of the ...

Went to the park today got 6 rides on Intimidator... The first 5 rides the second trim was grabbing hard for some reason...then on the 6th ride the trim didn't even grab so pretty nice today.

I got on row 4 today and to me its the best seat so far.... :D

^That's because the trims grab based on how quickly the train has gone through the course up until that point. They are there for more consistent intervals, and I don't really know if there's any more reasoning behind it. I think maybe ...

I'm going to throw in the logic that someone used when discussing I305. "If it needs a trim brake, then it was just bad engineering to begin with." Funny how they only said that about I305, which is at another park and made by Intamin, but didn't say it about ...

And you can't seriously be saying that a B&M with a "built in" trim brake is a modification. Nearly all steel coasters have "built in" trim brakes so by your statement they are all modifications? I'm going to throw in the logic that someone ...
