The trim was only on one ride for me this past season when is good, it's really good.

Hurler just needs a good retracking, like in the above picture. I'll be riding it much more this year, now that more track work is being done.

Take the trim brake off Hurler and you have mildly good coaster, retrack the entire ride in one winter and you have a Great Coaster without the 6 million or more dollar cost.

I believe they added the trim to reduce maintenance costs on the ride.

... it being anything overly great. It was fun, and I liked it, but it was never nearly as fun as TR to me....What was the reason they added the trim to hurler that everyone says essentially kills the airtime? Isn't that backasswards? They want to improve a coaster, not make it worse?
