We came to Scarowinds over the weekend. As roller coaster lovers, it was mildly disheartening that the wait lines were so obscenely long! (I've never seen a 150 minute wait on the app before!!!) I was thinking about returning on Saturday the 29th during the day. How bad will the lines be then?

I've never seen it as crowded as it was today during the day. Maybe on the 4th of July but that is it. There were just people everywhere. It hasn't been like that the last few weeks when we went to the great pumpkin festival evenly,last Sunday. I'm sure it crowded next weekend with it being right before Halloween and the last weekend the park is open for the year.

They told us that during Scarowinds that night, there were around 26,000 people in the park.

I also suspect the park is going to be very busy this coming Saturday. That is pretty usual for the last couple of weeks for operations.

It wouldn't surprise me if the crowds are bigger than usual this year, as I assume the park didn't do so well a few weeks ago with all the protests going on. Now that things have returned to normal, more people are heading to Carowinds.
