Hey everyone its me first time writing on here, so I have been thinking about planning a trip to Carowinds, I have looked at ticket prices on their Website and I saw a Two day ticket option and an Admission & Fast Lane Plus ticket option, both looked like really good options however I have never been to Carowinds before this will be my first trip and one of my goals is to ride Fury 325 however I understand that there is a waterpark Carolina Harbor as well. So I was wondering which ticket option is better the Two day ticket or the Admission & Fast Lane Plus?

I also wanted to know what are crowd conditions like during the summer and what are the best days to visit? Thanks

That depends on if you want to visit the water park or not. If that answer is No then I'd get the pass with Fast Lane. Just my opinion.

If you go in the summer the crowds are light Monday - Thursday. Saturday is a no go and most Fridays (schools and education days)

Best bet is look at the calendar of events and concerts.

Welcome to the forum! Weekdays are great times to go. If you must go on a weekend, early in the operating season is best. If you are going on the weekends, I would suggest the ticket, plus fast lane. If weekdays, I would just get a 2 day pass. This is just my opinion though. I would be curious to see what others think.

First time poster as well. I have bought season passes for my whole family and a few of their friends for the past couple seasons. Any weekday is my suggestion for a Carowinds trip. The difference is incredible. Long, long, long wait times on the weekends verses the weekdays being able to walk on some rides and tolerable wait times for the rest . I also agree with Chris, if your are going to come on the weekend then Fastlane pass is a must. Otherwise if you can come on a weekday, a 2 day ticket is less than a 1 day ticket and fastlane pass.

Thanks for all the replies, the suggestions really help. I don't know if I will visit the waterpark or not I have heard a lot about it. I will definitely be checking the Carowinds Website and calendar of events when considering crowd conditions and ticket options, thanks once again for the replies, I appreciate it.

Like was previously mentioned, if you can come on the weekdays, it is highly recommended.

Absolutely go on Monday through Thursday. Most rides are walk-ons (or close to it... including Fury) and the most popular lines are pretty short. (Most time-consuming lines are for Nighthawk, Ricochet and Rip Roarin' Rapids.)

Nighthawk is just slow load times, ricochet is because the cars only hold 4 (usually less) and RRR is gonna be worse this year because Whitewater Falls is gone. (Can we plead for a log flume here?) If you're gonna do Nighthawk, do it FIRST THING. The other 2 I'd do early as well unless you want some downtime standing in a bit of a line.

Carolina Harbor is going to be busy ANY day but the weekends are positively OUT. I never go on the weekends.
