I cant see a coaster named after a Copperhead having spinning trains, I mean it could but really would be kinda odd imo.

I'm praying to the coaster gods that it's a standard launch and not a spinner, but I guess I'd be fine with the latter as opposed to not having a Mack launch in the park at all.

That being said, I'm still not getting my hopes up that this isn't going to be a Gerstlauer just yet. I've been very vocal about my desire to see a launched megacoaster like Blue Fire come to Carowinds for YEARS now. I'd hate to get myself excited about it only to have it end up being something different.

Also, if it ends up being called Copperhead Strike, I hope we get to hear "COPPERHEAD STRIKES... NOW!" when it launches. That would be cool.

At first I wasn't completely sold on the idea of this being a spinner but after making this I am liking that idea a lot more than this being just a regular sit down, I am a fan of the idea of no two rides being exactly the same.

I agree with some of the above posters. That coaster would be way too fast for a spinner and would decrease capacity on an extreme level simply for the protein spills alone.
Rinse, dispatch empty train, return to station (lather - rinse - repeat)

From what I can see, the reviews for Time Traveler have all been outstanding. I would much prefer a traditional Mack launch, but I feel like a spinning Mack launch would be a terrific ride nonetheless. Also to all the naysayers, Time Traveler is a controlled spinning coaster, meaning vomit will not rain down from the heavens if that's what this ends up being.

They're making that area awfully barren... which i guess they have to do for ease of construction.

Here's hoping they go back with some man-made hills and valleys, some water, and a TON of trees.

I anticipate the next couple weeks to be a lot of the same, clearing the area of all rocks and concrete, removing any unusable dirt, and bringing in enough quality dirt to get the site at the specified elevation level and soil compaction for foundations to be dug and poured.

also, say what you want about the need for so many bathrooms in so many locations but, if that bathroom is going to stay as part of the water-park, it looks like it would be so far out of the way that it would never be used. Looks like it would be much better served to be here (see pic) and face the water-park than where it currently is.

Now, does moving it 150 feet or so warrant the amount of money to do so.... probably not in the eyes of the management.

I would have assumed they'd keep the bathroom throughout the duration of construction and have it serve as a large site Porta John, but I see a couple Johns already on site, so that's a good question on what is to become of it. It does seem oddly placed now with Sand Dune being removed.
