Sweet I bet they will be installed by mid week next week. Looks like they will be putting the track in under what will be the "shed" and installing transfer track next? I would guess they will finish up the full brake run as well and then go over to the lift hill. That would be my guess but I guess we will see!

This is really nerdy on my part, but I always find the weird B&M supports interesting like that one near the top on DiamondBack where they had to work around a building below. I wonder if Timmy will have any of those.

It seems like KD is taking a different approach by puttin up a lot of supports first...carowinds seems to set the supports and then put the track on.... wonder why its different... I guess that is just the way the manufacturers do it? It also looks like intimidators transfer is going to be narrower than diamondbacks, I am wondering if our storage shed will just hold 2 trains... if you look at the pictures of DB you will see 3 X's on the transfer but ours only has 2.

Actually, there is no track in the storage shed. There is a few feet right in the front so everything lines up, but after that the train rests on ledges to the sides. The wheels are justr 'floating'.

Dimaondback stores its trains three across. Intimidator will have one go way back, one in front of that, and then one beside that.

Ok. I couldn't find a picture of Diamondback's storage shed, but it is still the same idea:

See. The side of the train rests on the edges and there are wheels to drive the train forwards and backwards. But, the wheels on the trains don't rest on anything. The track piece is for alignment.

I went today and there was 11 pieces of track and the very first piece of the lift and the lift hill supports are now on site and some of the brake run is there to sorry for no pics.

Some of us took lots of pictures yesterday, and you'll see them eventually. Sometimes there are more important things to do on Sunday, like football. Although some of us did better today than the rest of us.
