Hendrick is in fact the general contractor, simon and watson is not, my connections that actually work at the park told me this today after i read all these posts about who was or wasnt the contractor, but in the larger scheme of things it doesnt matter, carowinds is getting a new coaster and thats what really matters

Man i tell you what im gone for a few months and i get back and all i see here is arguing about the people are constructing whatever this beast will be. Anyways im glad we are finally getting something new and different. I wonder if whatever it is we get if it will go under the bridge truly but when i look at the latest aerial views (Skytower) i dont believe it will unless they just want to leave the road in place. I know this road i have traveled it many times. I dont think it would be big enough for a coaster and a maintenance road but of course anything is possible. Anyways hope we get something crazy..

Maybe we should just ask the Dippin Dots guy. Not sure why DataFax and Plans-online would say Simon & Watson are the general contractor if they weren't.
