Does anyone live close enough to the b&m plant to get any pictures? It must be months since I've seen a new one. For all I know, there could be tons of track on site by now, with cranes waiting to load them on to trucks when the time comes! At least I hope so...

I was also looking earlier and the most recent picture I could find was from May 5th. All it showed was the yellow track (which I think has been shipped overseas) and the (our )red track with unpainted supports that said "MC" (Megacoaster?) on them.

This is kinda off topic but, didn't one of the coasters go to Happy Valley overseas as a dive coaster? I searched but can't find any construction photos of the new dive machine they are putting in(thought it was supposed to be a B&M).Just wondered "if" it was the red track at B&M.

Anything could happen but... Where else is it going to go that's prepared as much as we have? Plus, look at how the footers are marked in B&M pattern...

My laptop is great and super fast except for one glitch that they need to fix, and its new so still under warranty.

Last I heard, there was the red hyper track and the yellow looping track (or other inversions).

Forgive me for possibly repeating any information that's already been uncovered. I've been following this thread for a while, but I can't say that I've read every single page. I was at the park yesterday and I peppered Dani, the Public Relations Manager with questions. Of course she didn't give any details at all. Just the rehearsed line about the removal of the thornberrys, new attraction coming, stay tuned to Carowinds.com for a big announcement this summer, etc.

--She did say that they will be launching a Twitter account on July 11th.
--I got a look at the dirt up close, but don't have anything to add other than what's already been covered in depth on this thread. Has anyone started tracing out a path of where those pink flagged stakes are going? Just wondering.
--Some where I've read that people are speculating about the new containers that showed up inside of Hurler, Dani confirmed that the containers are for Scarowinds. At least the ones that we past by when I asked. I'm assuming they are the same containers people have noticed.

I think that's all I got, really not much. In other news, she shared that the Thunder Road rehab is two years through a five year re-tracking process that should be completed in 2012. She also mentions the park's plans to become a "regional-destination-resort". I can't remember the exact wording, but the point was major investments to grow the park. Hope at least some of this helps. I know it's not much, but they're obviously good about keeping it all under wraps. Not sure they'll leave a box of bolts out for us like KD did.

Thanks. I recommended we ride Afterburn together and he didn't say anything. When we were getting on Carolina Cobra, he said he hadn't ridden a coaster in years and I could tell he was nervous. Nice dedication to his job though.
