I can't even imagine the skill required to get those things to line up. With that much weight, It is not like you can push or pull them into place. The crane operator has to work within fractions of an inch while being hundreds of feet away. I wonder if they use cameras to do it?

Today is the first day that I've had time to sit and watch the cam for a good amount of time, talk about a long, slow, boring process lol, I can't believe it has taken them literally all day to erect half of a support tower. Yeah I know it's one of the two biggest and tallest on the ride but with them transporting one single piece at a time to the site seams to really put a dent in productivity. I wonder will they finish it today?

Ha, ha, you would have been crazy if you were watching all week. It took 6 days to do the drop support and spine. For me this is not boring at all, being that I'm a seasoned side walk supervisor. Construction is never fast like on the reality shows.

That's odd, they are putting up a single piece. I would have expected them to connect two pieces and the connecting 'L' and lifted the whole thing into place so it will hold itself in place. It seems by doing it this way, one crane will have to hold the piece up until they get those 3 pieces in place. Oh well, what do I know? Nothing about the way they are constructing this thing seems logical to me.

Yeah...He misheard mike...he never knows what he is talking about...

Im willing to bet money the coaster would be ready on opening day...why wouldn't it be?

Agreed, seems like constructions is painfully slow from the look of things. I guess at this pace it might take forever to complete the track.

Because I am not an expert, I am wondering why we don't see more progress. :?

Once they are done with these larger supports and can be closer to the ground, you will see them progressing a lot faster.

I'm one of the very few here that are happy with the pace of construction. I'm sure it will pick up when the huge sections are done, but just enjoy it for now guys. It's very interesting to see how this thing is coming together

Everything isn't to be seen up front. You wanna see the coaster to go up in a week? You do know they kinda have to let things set, make sure its no issues. I appreciate them taking their time to make sure its done right. Once the lift is done its gonna go by quick...I promise you guys. Am I an expert...hardly. Have I seen countless coasters constructed...you betcha. No need to panic...yet.
