well if that is true, then the pieces are fitting together, lightning strikes twice as in KD and Carowinds getting nascar coasters named after Dale Earnhardt

Both could have the same type of theming, but I highly doubt "lightning strikes twice" has anything to do with that. I imagine it has to do with the name of the new carowinds coaster instead. Notice there is nothing up at KD involving lightning.

I went to the park today and saw a large container in the front plaza. The side of it said "Do not open until Spring 2010" and "IZ12ENUFF". Could this be refering to the number of cars for the coaster?

Man, the persson writting the stuff for this "project" sure has their ways with words...

It kinda makes me feel "jittery" inside and kinda confused and strokes my curosity about this project...

But about the drawing...how many people actually registered for coastershock? I wonder how far in advance would people know and what if they cannot make it? Me, personally, I'm avaliable to be anywhere within a half days notice...just keep that in mind carowinds...

I think everyone will still get something in the mail. Here is what dani said on the coaster stock thread.

dani@carowinds wrote:Anyone who attends the event and registers will receive a surprise gift in the mail afterwards that you will be SURE to enjoy!

dani@carowinds wrote:BIG surprise for anyone who attends the event. You will be receiving a present in the mail a couple of weeks after the event that you WILL NOT WANT TO PASS UP ON.

I don't think that the surprise she was getting us all excited about was just for 5 people. I think that they are just using the same registration cards for our free gift and the drawing. i will be very upset if that is the surprise, but I doubt it.

Most parks keep em for over a year, maverick's site still works, the only park that I can think of that got rid of theirs was Valleyfair and the Renegade site.

That screaming is from a VIP video, so honestly I don't know what to say although if you notice the chain noise stops BEFORE the screaming starts, so maybe there is something between the chain and the "drop."
