I would check in the store of the corresponding phone OS that you are using and look for a player that can play .stream files. I did a quick Google search and see some players mentioned. However I haven't tried watching the live feeds from my phone.

I have watched on my iPhone before without downloading anything extra. Just click on the link below or just go to Carowinds click on full site click on online fun and WebCam. But make sure you hit live stream.

Well look at that - it works. I should have checked the link before posting. Thanks! Ignore my previous post. ;)

It is exciting to see the lift hill topped off. I am just as interested in seeing the rest of the course come together.

I have to say I'm surprised that they didn't add the other piece even though some people thought it would be too heavy I thought the crane could handle it.
It seems weird that they'll be able to have that piece hanging out into space like that when it doesn't have a support under it.
Maybe they'll leave the crane attached to it and raise the last piece with the other red crane.

for sure...

I would have either liked to see all three pieces assembled and lifted at the same time, or barring that, the currently missing piece installed first and the two-piece section currently being installed done last....the two piece section is the tallest and would have been more appropriate for the "topping off" ceremonies to come later...

Seems a shame that the highest piece isn't the last piece.

True. Could be that any minute adjustments would be easier with the long piece they're installing now than with a short stubby piece on top of the drop. They're good, but I doubt it will line up to the millimeter on that last piece. The long lift piece hanging out into space (from the crane) will make lining up the bolt holes a lot easier because it will be easier to move to line things up.

It probably would seem to be more appropriate for the so-called "topping-off" ceremonies to do it that way. But it is being assembled according to specifications B&M. Major integrated sections were designed to be built in a particular order. B&M probably wasn't considering whatever media promotion that Carowinds might or might not be doing today, many many months ago when it was designed. And even if they did know that Carowinds would want to do some kind of a media event as the hill was finished, they probably would just design it to be put together however it is most practical for the construction purposes anyway. There was no choice to be made on how it was assembled today.

The event today is nothing more than Carowinds wanting to get some more cheap press, and build some anticipation for next year, for people who still haven't even heard of this getting built (and that still is most people). Today is just another couple of pieces going in, with many hundreds more still needed, and several months to go, before anyone actually gets to ride the thing.

After a while, next year, the cheap press will run out... and they'll have to spend lots of money running commercials... Today is just getting free advertising.

Maybe Mike Fehnel will announce today that the Fury 325 "surprise" element hinted at in the past will be to leave that missing portion of track out... the jump will add to the excitement!!

That would surely be exciting. Not possible, but exciting.

With the actual crown going in this early in the day, and with the handrails already installed on it, I wouldn't be surprised to see hardhat tours to the top for some members of the media today... assuming everything drops into place as planned.

That is awesome. Great of Carowinds to do that!
