According to my sister who works at Carowinds, many of the employees are convinced Carowinds is receiving a 500+ foot coaster next year. Just goes to show that they are just as unknowing as we are (or even worse.)

Today I went out to the park. There was still not much going on by the coaster site but it seems as if they are prepping the path that the coaster will take before actually starting work on that area.

Also, I agree with Wormy but I disagree. I don't have my license and I'm still trying to post updates. Living an hour away isn't easy. I do agree that more of us should post updates but everyone doesn't have the ability to make it out to the park weekly. Being 14 I catch a ride with any of my friends that are going and manage to come to the about 2 times a week and take some time out of hanging out with them to take some pics. Wormy please know that we do greatly appreciate all that you do to keep us updated.

But I think the reason these trees are gone, is because they won't be needed when all is said and done with the front gate and parking reconstruction. Not just the usual needless removal of trees we're used to.
