Finally! It’s teasing season. Here is my take on all of this teasing:

It is still a Mack launch coaster. That is set in stone, we know that. We SAW the footings in the parking lot, and we spotted the crate with “Mack Rides” clearly printed on it. The point of the teasing is just that - to tease. There is some factual information in them (such as the mock building and demolition). As for the Miami river lumber company, I think they are screwing with us. I don’t think that has any real relevance, unless they are already teasing 2020 (which I don’t find likely).

Basically, it is still a Mack. I am 100% sure of it. They are probably trying to cover up how everyone knows it’s a Mack.

Just thinking about the guy saying there were a lot of easter eggs in the barn image and trying to guess what they might be. The first words of the paragraph on the right are "for years" which was the rallying cry for mayor Higginbotham sort of , "four years"

These teasers are for everyone, it’s to get people talking and excited about what’s coming to Carowinds in 2019. Word of mouth is free advertising for the park, whether it is shared by enthusiasts or soccer moms who buy 4 or 5 season passes each year with all the add-ons. As far as the Cedar Fair Easter eggs, I’m sure those are nothing more than winks to those who will notice them and the people making these teasers having fun. You will find similar Easter eggs at Mystic Timbers queue for example.

This was previously mentioned on Reddit but I also see a County Fair extension of sorts in terms of style, but the area themed to a farm/orchard whatever. Holding off on the flyers for 2019 was a smart idea, that way there will be something for everyone with this announcement. Also if you’ve been to a cornfield or farm in NC then you’ve seen snakes too!

Ok so I just got back from the park and a lot was happening! Carowinds has purposely poked big round circles through the green construction fence and you can now peak through around where the teasers are. Something is going on under Intimidator that they don’t want us to see as various things were covered with tarps. Other than that it’s been a very productive week!
