I dont thin DIGITAL has to do with the actual project, other than maybe how it was filed or something.... All other projects, such as a picnic canopy at Carowinds also say digital. Other projects on evolve site also say digital, not just the Carowinds ones.

Digital means digital plan pdf submittal on Evolve for municipality to review instead of sending paper copies.

From the construction cam, it kinda looks like they're tearing up & doing construction on the parking area that shouldn't need to be touched, if the blueprints are oriented & scaled correctly. Agree?

Does the blueprint have any type of scale that we know? It could be shrunk down from what has been superimposed, still be sizable and high thrill, and leave at least a couple of places to add future flat ride. or maybe move the gliders adjacent (not to where yoyo is) If the scale and position of the coaster superimposed on the map is correct, they shouldn't need to be excavating here.

maybe orientation or scale is off?
parking lot from google earth pro

Whatever used to be there, if the two areas i circled in yellow are one and the same, it didnt look from the blueprints superimposed on the map that theyd need to be excavated for the mack coaster. Just curious if maybe the orientation or scale we have been assuming is wrong?

I said parking because the pic of the map showed a bunch of crap parked on that gravel I'm talking about.

While I think the blueprints are accurate, I do not think the blueprints superimposed onto google earth is 100% accurate to where the coaster will be. I think it was an enthusiast who superimposed them on there in the general area of where they think or where they were told it is going. Probably a very close representation though. Just my guess.

We should be able to glean the orientation of the plans from the placement of the footings once there is enough of them to match up.

The next question would be scale. Maybe the plan image needs to be made slightly larger in relation to the size of the image.

Anyone that needs a reference scale from the blueprints isn’t paying attention....

There is an exsisting structure on the blueprint that has been in the park since 2006.....

I will just point out the obvious.

Thanks for that...the bathroom building isn't in the superimposed-on-google-earth version, so that is good to get. It'd be nice to have that version on the LINKS thread so it's easy to find & see how close the size/scale is
