Thats it guys. Carowinds 2015 coaster is now officially a thing. A real thing. As in a thing that is a tangible and actually physically there, you can go out and touch it (well not really yet ), its no longer just a an idea in all of our collective minds. In other words, ITS HAPPENING

I was going to upload some of the photos I managed to take today, but seeing as to how Wormy beat me to the chase, the pics would be a bit redundant.


On a side note though...while I was riding the Hurler today, I noticed a series of light green tin roofing staged in the middle of the open area between the tracks. I'm not sure if this roofing is perhaps for the new coasters load/unload station or if it's just something for SCarowinds.

It is a POV of a potential ride design for the new coaster. It could be spot on, or it could be totally wrong. Only time will tell, I guess.

I'm not sure if this was already discussed but I was at the park a few days ago and noticed this marker as you walk to the left of the bridge by the main gate. I'm not sure what this is for.

It's really hard to say. I mean, going by the blueprints, the coaster is purportedly running out that way, so it could be related. The park has been clearing trees in the exact vicinity of that marker as well.

I've seen those as well. There is also one to the right side of the bridge.

I think that the only announcement and photo collection for carowinds screamscape posted that they didn't get from us was the layout.
