Nothing much has changed from the "perimeter" since the completion of erection, which was indeed quick and smooth - I wish Hendrick Construction had a facebook page so I could become a fan.

It seems that the station is the next project as part of the roof is being installed. I figure it will be completed soon so that electrical and computer instalation can began. Cant wait until we see some testing for the first time, its not far away guys!!!

so i know the new year is practically upon us but....i think it would be cool if they slowly lowered the cabin on the skytower and did a count down to either the day they start testing or the start of the season...kinda a special "new year" for us if you would. Gosh I mean this def has to be a new era for Carowinds...Record breaking, History making

Is it me or does the beacon look a little different than the standard type? Or maybe it's just the reflection if the bulb isn't actually in yet.

I meant to mention the beacon in my trip report, but then totally forgot about it.
