Maybe they need to finish the tunnel/brige area first before they can place track over there? That might be the reason why the Mosley crew has time off....

^^Perhaps. Also maybe they have to wait for more track to arrive. When more track arrives, they send a few guys over to unload it as usual.

Mike did mention that the track work would slow down some as they torqued the bolts on the track already up. Maybe they waited until this week to do all of that?

Yeah, I noticed on the webcam yesterday that there was someone torquing the bolts on the first turn after the drop.

We'll have to wait and see. Tomorrow and Wed (Christmas Eve) are suppose to be worse than today, with possible thunderstorms Wed. It may be Friday before we see any more action.

Yea- Charlotte weather is certainly better than Sandusky, but it's still not ideal the next few months. It can still be pretty crappy unless you're way down in Florida..

I left Charlotte this AM to see my family for the week; the weather SUCKS all up the east coast. Especially driving in it. But I guess no better time than when I'd assume the workers have time off anyway.

Does anyone hope that the lighting package on the ride will have the ability to color change? like the LED lights that can put out any color using RGB. It would let them change the color of the supports as they are white.

I'd love that... similar to the Duke Energy building in Uptown Charlotte. I'd love to see lights on the cars themselves... powered by a battery pack somewhere in the train. Wouldn't that be amazing as it flew around the track at night!

If that were to be so, I would imagine that the lead car on the trains of FURY will have the lime green lights on the front of it. It would also be cool if there was some sort of design on the sides of the trains for lime green lights. Then at night, that light would fly over the guests at lightning speed and will be nothing but a blur of lime green light!'
But this is probably a pipe dream.

I think it'd be awesome if the eyes of the Hornet lit up a neon green color. And if there was a sharp buzz at the top of the lift, similar to the scream on Banshee.
