I think the "rome wasn't built in a day" thing is along the lines of "We are taking this park to the next level over the next few years by adding a coaster and spending $__ and we've already added the slides and Harmony Hall, wait'll you see what we do after this B&M Coaster" knd of announcement. NOT that there is a roman theme to a coaster. A Roman "land" would just so out of the norm for Cedar Fair. Rome would be a Busch Gardens theme. I seriously doubt they are building a Roman themed "Land."
I keep thinking in answer to "What do Romans do" and all I can think of are Gladiators, pizza, the Pope, gelato, the coliseum, museums and famous artists.
To me I'm thinking they'll pull down the teaser banners on announcement day and it'll be something like "announcing the Outer Space Coaster" or something unrelated but very high thrill. (Or Fury 325). Would love it if everything we're guessing about manufacturer, blueprints, etc. are off. But it's probably not, this is probably exactly what we're getting: B&M 300+ like most are saying.
Has anyone compared these station footers to I305 footers? I know layout is different but wonder if that's just a simple solution: give us something like KD has for size and speed. Kinda boring compared to something we've never seen, but just wondering...whatever it is, next year I'll be riding it.
