About this launch thing, my take on it is this......If B&M didn't feel comfortable building a launch mechanism on Hulk, so be it. They aren't very reliable, and why soil your name, when you hear B&M you think sweetness. So another company builds what turns out to be a very reliable launch. Now, do you guys not think that a) B&M could bring them in and work together on a launched coaster from square one, a new design from B&M that they can be sure meets their expectations? or b)buyout the company and merge the employees into your own(I don't know who did it, just sayin'). or c)develope your own launch mechanism and do all the testing in house to perfect it.
I'm not saying our coaster will or won't be launched, just putting it out there for the one's that think B&M wouldn't do a launched coaster. It's always possible, I mean we put a man on the moon, and robots on Mars......anything is possible.

Also a lot of things seem to be missing aka the GIANT cut out from the ground where all the B&M electrical stuff goes. Personally I am not saying anyones wrong, nor will I ever brag if I end up right but it just doesn't look right in my book to be a B&M.

In due time. They also haven't poured any sort of footer work or slab for the queue house, so does that mean this thing won't have a queue house? I think you are getting a little ahead of yourself.

Also, can we finally rule out a splashdown? I think that one is all but dead at this point...

I said months ago that we were getting a launched Mega coaster. You all laughed at me. (Yes I'm a newbe, however, I'm also over 40 years old). Can someone please find the quote if it does come true? I would love a bit of credit.
The ride is going to be themed to auto racing (not Nascar), with a launched start and a Mega coaster design. I also wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't red.......
BTW......We are all going to be very happy!

You said the start would be similar to kingda ka and dragster...thats kinda too vauge because that can be taken to any avenue but im taking you are talking about it being launched the exact same way and the way things are looking its shaping up very differently...do you want credit for being almost wrong (wait til the 26th) on that?

I've wondered that myself. There's probably room in that area for a flat... but I doubt we're that lucky.

Just because it's themed to racing doesn't mean it's going to be launched. So Im still laughing...

I can't comprehend the reason why this has been brought up several times...

Carowinds doesn't have to be open the day they announce the new coaster. Only a select few people (maybe ACErs (no quarantee though) and the media will be invited to attend anyway. It's always been this way with most every park, aside from Holiday World.

The last thing Carowinds wants is a bunch of 15 year old fan boys running loose at Media Day embarassing the park.
