Why do the days leading up to the announcement feel like a century, but the actual construction feels like an hour? I'm so bored!

I've been trying to imagine the skyline of Carowinds next year. Quite easy for me as the park is visible out my bedroom window. I'm glad I'll get to watch the lift hill going up more and more everyday during construction. These three weeks can't go by quick enough.

Clearmont Steel Fabricators is 32 miles away from Kings Island which is a 36 minute drive according to goolge maps.

But why would Carowinds' track have the privilege (not the best word) of being hidden over all of those other tracks we saw awhile back? I can only imagine that either we have already seen the track in past pictures, the pieces have only very recently been put outside the factory, or we aren't getting a B&M.....

I just actually realized just how big that area is since the go-carts aren't there anymore. Quite a big area so my past concern on space is unwarranted. I still see lines wrapping up and around the theater, scrambler and possibly beyond. For a while anyway.
