I hope they don't light the tunnel. One of my favorite night rides is Afterburn because the tunnel under the south gate is very dark.

Anyone know if there is a way to get into Carowinds' off-season events like the Winter Warmup?

Winter Warm Up was talked about on this site quite frequently, leading up to the event. It was an ACE event, so it was open to members of ACE and to guests of ACE members. Jarsh is our regional ACE representative and he allowed every one that wasn't a member to come as a guest of his, as long as they promised to act appropriately at the event.

I don't believe there are any other off-season events scheduled for Carowinds, except for the media day for Fury 325. That is an invitation-only event.

That's what I was thinking, however there are no holes in animation like there are in the photo mike took.

See i don't think those will be used for that, I think those pieces will be used over the queue lines for shade and etc.

I doubt these are being used for shade Anthony, since they have holes in them.

Most of the shade structures in the park are steel with mesh covering, I am going third up Jarsh.
