When I first hear about the new attraction based on a video game I was hoping it would replace Boo Blasters, and be similiar to Toy Story Mania where you ride through playing 4D video games against the other person in your car. Doesn't seem as fun in an action theater. What do you think?

I think the should add a scary dark ride. I combination of the old two story Pretzel rides and Haunted Mansion.

I love to see them add something like the haunted attraction at Gröna Lund. Animatronics are much more consistent than Scaractors. Problem is, I don't think the park would properly maintain an attraction like that.

There's one thing that we have to remember about this new attraction... It's not a dark ride. So there's still that possibility soon. (yes, I'm aware that this is a dumb response, but oh well. It needs to be said).

Voyage to the iron reef is pretty much like toy story mania to me. I think the building with boo blaster isn't big enough to house a ride like that at carowinds. see some screen shots . . .

using the car to judge, the building that houses iron reef is pretty large, as you see the building that houses boo blaster isn't much bigger than chic-fila.

I believe the attraction coming to Carowinds will be the world's first intra-active 3D attraction. That means two separate screens and the actions of one team will appear on the other's screen.

[EDIT] The motion seats look similar so I can't see this being an attraction for all ages. Very bike-ish.

Even though I hadn't noticed if they have them in renderings, attractions like this usually have stationary seats for those unable to use the motion seats. They even have them in the video above on that attraction. I guess we'll have to wait and see if they include some.
