I just timed one of the Dummy tests on my computer and the times were the following:

Lift: 41 seconds
Lift-to-brakes: 60 seconds
Complete circuit: 2 minutes 20 seconds

well that cant be right as its suppose to be 3 mins 25 secs

I think the 3:25 refers to the time from when you get on the train till you unload off of it...but i could be wrong.

It seems like they're testing e-stop and various features of the lift tonight. The lift speed is definitely faster than the original figure of 63 seconds.

It looks like the trains might slow down just a little bit as they approach the drop off of the chain. Has anyone else noticed this?

Also, take note of all the 'No Loose Articles' signs. I guess they are trying to minimize as much confusion as possible about bins being on Fury, like they are on the rest of the coasters.

It's understandable. What if one if them crashed down into the park and damaged something. I'm sure they wouldn't want to pay for repairs. Then there is the issue of getting their drone back from inside the park.

This is becoming a national problem with these unauthorized drones, not only at Carowinds. One even violated the restricted airspace at the White House and another flew over Bank of America Stadium.

I finally saw the Fury commercial this morning on WCNC (Channel 36, NBC-Charlotte). It looked very good in HD from the antenna, and I am now curious to see if it will appear on the Greenville-Spartanburg channels.
