I hope they do it everywhere possible. The green really makes Fury pop!

A lot of the areas surrounding the coaster are just dirt... Of course the landscape is still a work in progress, I'm sure it's going to look killer once they give everything the finishing touch. I picture it with lots of green grass and trees! Hopefully that's the direction they take for the environment around Fury.

Carowinds hasn't been happy with unauthorized drones

Wasn't the guy "Nelson aerials" who posted the 4k FURY 325 video from his UAV a couple weeks ago run off by Carowinds security? I'm assuming that is who this article is referring to.

For the record, since many of you on here know I operate a UAV, my one flight over FURY 325 was authorized by Carowinds. I will never endanger anyone or anything when I fly and I stay within the current FAA height guidelines. It's sad that a few idiots out there are going to ruin this for the responsible flyers.

I just wanna say that carowinds means a lot to me and Im truly thankful it is now a world class park. It means a lot to me. I know I haven't been mature on here with some stuff and I wanna apologize. I'm so thankful for what Cedar fair has done for Carowinds. You all know we don't have the great weather year round like Orlando and the Beauty of the Smoky Mnts. But Carowinds is in the Cross Roads of the south. And I have always thought we could pull the folks in better than Six flags, Dollywood, Bush Gardens and Our Brothers to the north at KD. We just had to have the right peaces to the Puzzle. Fury 325 is is Game changer and I look forward to what's in our future.

I'm glad Cedar Fair recognized the potential of Carowinds. I hope they own the park for many years to come. It's crazy to think that something of this magnitude is only the beginning of a new Carowinds. I mean at this point, I'm not gonna hold out for flat rides to come to the park. But the food selection is improving, the park is getting landscaping work done, and the water park is going to get huge! Maybe we'll see a dark ride some time in the future. By the end of this expansion, we will be able to call Carowinds- our old, little park- the Cedar Point of the South.
