I for one hope that whatever type of giga coaster this is, that it IS B&M!

I don't know why. I've certainly never ridden Levanthian.........I have MF though........Levanthian just looks like the best giga to me out of the ones I've seen. Then again, since carowinds is loaded with B&M already..........who knows, maybe it will be Intamin........

Yes, those trains are very sexy But I think they would be good on the Goliath/Titan coasters. The trains from Giavanola don't seem as open air as these. Anyways, I drew up a new layout. It's pretty much the one I proposed earlier but it stays within the area owned by Carowinds. It goes over the hurler (like Leviathan going over Dragon Fire).

Those trains are nice; however, my only setback would be the leg restraints.

Hey! It took me ten minutes to draw those! Besides, what else are we supposed to talk about? No more information has been released about the new coaster. At this point in time, all we can do is speculate. The only survey marks we've seen are from the front gate and those are for the renovation. We probably won't hear any more news about the Giga until late December/early January. Anyone else have any better ideas?

tarheel, you scribbled a line on a map of carowinds and called it a layout with no intelligent thought behind it. I am pretty sure that Cedar Fair will build a coaster completely over the hurler and right through camp wilderness because I mean who wouldn't want a coaster going by their cabin while camping.

^I know right? Then the attendence of Emo kids would go up. They would sleep in the camp and then when the train goes by, they jump onto the track and end it! Anyways, I'm probably wrong about the Jormungandr theme With the coaster being completely on the North Carolina side, it might have a north carolina theme to it. Maybe the "Storm Surge"?

If it turns out to be Intamin, a 300ft Giga version of Sky Rush might be an idea, with the winged seats on the outside. I have not been on that coaster, but sounds like it has intensity and airtime. But more likely it will be B&M, similar to Leviathan. If they do a Canada's Wonderland pattern.

I would have to disagree with the layout being similar to Leviathan. Reason why is because the layout for Leviathan is close to our Hyper. I don't believe CF would built 2 coasters with the almost the same layout just different height in the same part. But then again I could be wrong.

As far as the I-305....I really hope that is wrong.....

I would expect our giga to look somewhat like Behemoth. If it is B&M, maybe it will go outside of the park. There is not enough room on the NC side alone to fit a giga coaster unless it is similar to I-305. Leviathan is similar to Intimidator, so maybe our giga will be similar to behemoth.

I will not complain about what type of coaster we get as long as it is not by Intamin
