So then I thought some type of launch coaster which would be needed and wanted. And then I thought again and said an RMC would be a wonderful addition to the park. It would be a nice intense coaster with plenty of airtime and would technically be a wooden coaster...TECHNICALLY. Either way I just hope we get a coaster that isn't B&M. I know this is gonna be a good year for Carowinds, and will definitely help the parkreach the 3 million goal.
I agree, I'm trying to recall the press conference that took place just before Fury was built where Matt Oimet was quoted saying that even though it may not happen in his lifetime, Carowinds could become the "Cedar Point of the South"...
If this is true, would it be possible that CF could be looking at installing a "major" coaster in lieu of a somewhat smaller GCI? I dunno, I'm thinking that since we got the flats last year and the kids area this year, maybe the thought process is they see a lot of potential in Carowinds and are investing as such. It's anybody guess at this point.
