Question i know this is off topic but did they dismantle the log flume or just rip it apart? If they dismantled it, do you think that they will put it back up somewhere else? and another thing i never said anything but before i had any idea of the roller coaster coming up i was starting to think they were just going to move the flying super saturater over to where the log flume used to be. i mean i like the roller coaster idea alot more but if no roller coaster that would be a good spot for the saturator.

So you think that red track in the parking lot at Carowinds is just for looks? I usually try not to call people out in public, but that post was just stupid!

Super Saturator was cut up with torches into a million pieces after it was sitting over by the bus lot. I think the cars are still in the maintneance area incase any of the 3 or 4 other setpoint rides want to buy them...

Will I die a little everytime I see a shop hocking the latest truckload of trés chíc NASCAR crap in my home park? Well, yeah, probably.

I don't like Danny Phantom much as a theme, but I just enjoy the flyers like crazy. The theme is meaningless, just some paint and props. The ride is the main thing. Unless you go all out and have some sort of theme like Disney's space mountain where you immersed in a story or theme. Whatever we get will be fun. Just rode Diamondback earlier this month and it was a blast.

So this is my first time posting to this site but ive been watching the development of this ride from several sites so ive put together some details to make a resonable guess for the coaster. Okay so some of the details are if anyone has seen the invites for the announcement they highlight the '26' in the date and also the idea of 'record breaking, history making' shows that it has some type of record with it. My guess is that the coaster is gona be 260 ft high making it the tallest, most likely as well fastest, B&M hyper and also the tallest and fastest coaster in the park. This is just a guess but its what i can make of all this. I wish they picked a better team than NASCAR though haha but as long as its a good ride that helps out Carowinds then it works for me.

I feel like there is some significance to the number 26 as well. As razz stated, maybe the coaster will be 26 stories tall!!

Most parks make announcements/Media Days on Thursdays so that the Friday papers can run the articles and drum up business for Saturdays, and while this announcement doesn't really have anything to do with drumming up business for Saturday, if the coaster is 26 stories tall, this maybe one of those times where they just thought it'd be too cool if they could announce it on the 26th.

So... *fingers crossed for a 26 story B&M airtime machine!!*

I got an invite...but not one of the five that where sent out. I am sure Jon will keep us informed of what is going on that day. I wish I could clear what I have to do that day to attend but I am sure we all will know when it is time.

I am glad razz brought this up & that you validated it. I have thought from the beginning that the highlighted "26" was rather oddly conspicuous, but could never think of anything to relate it to. I must say, I like the way you two think!
P.S. omg, omg, omg, omg, omg, omg, omg, omg, omg, omg, omg, omg

I think the 26 may be significant as well, but personally I would be shocked if this coaster was over 240 feet tall. Then again it could be a bunch of dopey coaster enthusiasts reading too much into every detail. :|

I probably will be tweeting as well, but the above would probably reach more people. :P Will he be able to post pictures as well? I just got an iPhone so I have a camera I can take pictures and twitpic them.

Indeed he does.
