If it's for Carowinds, it should be showing up at the park any second now as it left about 5 and a half hours ago.

Or am I just thinking somebody said that and they didn't? :?

No that was said so on that logic, There is already yellow supports at eather CP or Carowinds.

Oh, ok. That's where I heard it. I knew 48 seemed like a lot more than what I was seeing in the pics.

You should tell the guys at KD that... CharlotteGuy, since you live near the park can you go hang out by Wendy's and see if Hapag Lloyd Trucks pull into Carowinds...not saying you have to, of course, but that would be cool.

He said on KD Fansite he would run by there tonight or in the morning. I think the supports are still at KD and this is all for nothing.

Why in the world would the supports be put back into shipping containers if that was the case? Also, if they were planning to put the supports somewhere else in the park, why wouldn't they have just put the supports there in the first place instead of unloading them in the parking lot?

Clint said they left out of his sight towards I-95... I'd say they're gone... but I still think you guys are going to get something good next year.

^ I didn't say I had all the answers. So answer this. Why unload them at KD if they are for another park just to load again later? Please don't say they didn't know. I think the sub contractors know what type of rides they are installing.

Why would they unload them at all if they were planning to put them somewhere else in the park? The only reason I could think of is the area where they wanted to put the supports wasn't ready yet. Still doesn't answer the question regarding the shipping container though. Why not use a flatbed truck or forklift to move the supports? I have never seen coaster pieces get moved from one area of a park to another by a shipping container truck.

Maybe a flatbed would be cheaper but I don't think IMHO they would move supports with a forklift. Supports are about 30 feet long and that would be hard to balance.

Okay, if these supports actually DO show up at Carowinds, what could we be looking at? If the supports are Intamin, would we be getting an Intamin hyper instead of a B&M? Or can coaster companies make supports for tracks of other companies? And can someone please tell me why these supports are Intamin? Hope this doesn't change our coaster to something smaller. The columns at KD don't look big enough for a hyper... :|
