When it comes to coasters, everyone wants to ride the tallest or fastest. If you are a thrill seeker of course. Having the tallest traditional coaster in the world will make a difference in the fact that, people will come from all over to ride it. When you talk records, attendance goes up! When it comes to temps, I don't know of anyone that goes to a city for the record temps.
