I honestly suspect that they are attempting to get nearly everyting completed this week. I could be wrong, but what if they had all but one piece installed by Saturday, then during the construction tour, they let everybody sign the last piece then put it in while we watched? I think that is a strong possibility.

That's not been mentioned in my conversations with the park. If that is indeed the plan (which I doubt it is), it would be a surprise to me as well.

I still think we're look at another week and a half or so of construction. I'm guessing Tuesday or Wednesday of next week it should be finished, barring any weather related issues.

And now for something that may be a little bit more true: I see that Carowinds is saying that Fury will be available for early ride times for Gold Pass holders. I hadn't seen that before. Yay.

I've been wondering about this... I wondered if they put a spot weld on the nuts as a kind of thread-locker.
